Matchroom sign ‘King Kong’ Ortiz

Exciting heavyweight Luis ‘King Kong’ Ortiz has joined forces with Matchroom Boxing as he looks to secure a world title shot.
The unbeaten 37-year-old has beaten 22 of his 25 opponents inside the distance and stopped Bryant Jennings in seven rounds last December to claim the WBA interim heavyweight title.
He subsequently knocked out Tony Thompson in six rounds in March and will make his European debut in November in his first fight under the Matchroom banner.
