Burns-Broner set for Vegas

Fresh from the first defence of his WBA super-lightweight world title, Ricky Burns looks set to face Adrien Broner in Las Vegas in December, according to promoter Eddie Hearn.
Burns won a hard-fought battle with formerly unbeaten challenger Kiryl Relikh on Friday night in Glasgow and is now looking to move on to bigger fights, with Broner earmarked as the next potential foe for the Scot.
Burns, only the third British three-weight world champion, is excited by the prospect of being involved in a big fight Stateside and a battle with one of the sport’s most notorious and outspoken boxers in four-weight world champion Broner would certainly whet the appetite.
