Rothschild to return as Yanks pitching coach

The Yankees have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with pitching coach Larry Rothschild, confirming that manager Joe Girardi’s entire coaching staff will return for the 2017 season.
Originally named to the position prior to the 2011 season, Rothschild will begin his seventh season with the Yankees and his 43rd year in professional baseball as a player, coach or manager.
