Gabi extends Atletico contract

Atletico Madrid captain Gabi has signed a one-year contract extension which keeps him at the club until June 2018.
The Spanish midfielder, whose previous deal was due to expire next summer, is uncapped by his national team at senior level, but he remains a key player for La Liga leaders Atletico.
The team is due to leave their Vicente Calderon stadium to switch to the Estadio La Peineta next summer.
