Dodgers could push Hill back in rotation
- Updated: October 7, 2016
WASHINGTON — Hurricane Matthew has the Dodgers considering contingency plans with their starting rotation, including holding back Rich Hill from Saturday’s Game 2 of the National League Division Series if inclement weather threatens.
Los Angeles president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman and manager Dave Roberts said they discussed the possibility on the Wednesday flight from Los Angeles because of concern over Hill’s lingering finger blisters. Clayton Kershaw gets the start in Game 1 on Friday at 5:30 p.m. ET/2:30 on FS1.
