Mellon leaves Shrewsbury

Manager Micky Mellon has left Shrewsbury Town by mutual consent, and according to Sky sources, will speak to Tranmere about the possibility of him becoming the National League club’s new boss.
Mellon had been under increasing pressure at Greenhous Meadow following the Shrews poor start to the new Sky Bet League One campaign.
