Crawford on facing Cubs: ‘We’re confident’

NEW YORK — The National League Division Series pitting the Giants against the Chicago Cubs will be heavy on aesthetics and should be long on competition.
The aesthetics are obvious. The best-of-five series begins Friday at Chicago’s Wrigley Field (9 p.m. ET/6 PT on FS1), the league’s enduring grande dame of ballparks. “I’m excited to play some playoff baseball at Wrigley,” Giants right fielder Hunter Pence said. “That’s a pretty special ballpark.”
The Giants earned the chance to play with Cubs by stunning the Mets, 3-0, in Wednesday’s NL Wild Card Game at Citi Field.
