Justin Gilbert Injury: Updates on Steelers CB’s Knee and Return

Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Justin Gilbert was carted off the field during Wednesday’s practice ahead of a Week 5 matchup against the New York Jets.

Gilbert’s Status Is Unknown Wednesday, Oct. 5
According to Bill Phillips of WPXI, Gilbert suffered “an apparent knee injury” during the closed practice, but the extent of the injury or a timetable for a possible return has not been disclosed yet.
Zac Jackson of Pro Football Talk also noted that Gilbert came into Wednesday listed as limited due to some knee trouble.
