Burns sales to help Towell family

Money made from ticket sales for Ricky Burns’ world title fight between midnight on Wednesday and midnight on Thursday will go to Mike Towell’s family.
Towell died in hospital on Friday after being carried on a stretcher from the ring at St Andrew’s Sporting Club the previous day following a British title eliminator against Dale Evans.
Former world champion Ricky Hatton has raised almost £40,000 to support Towell’s partner Chloe Ross and their young son Rocco.
