WADA & Interpol Join Forces to Crack Down on Criminal Networks Pushing Doping

A joint World Anti-Doping Agency and Interpol project will seek to sever the link between organised crime and the trafficking in banned substances. The two agencies aim to fight drug trafficking through targeted criminal analysis.
The move will take the realm of anti-doping into dangerous and difficult territory, with gambling groups at the very edge of Olympic sports in some country, reports even stretching shadowy figures calling young swimmers out of call rooms on the cusp of competing.
