Julio Jones Becomes 6th Receiver with 300-Yard Game

When Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones streaked down the sideline and into the end zone in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 48-33 victory over the Carolina Panthers, he became just the sixth player in NFL history to reach 300 receiving yards in a single game, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Jones finished the day with 300 yards on the nose, but the catch-and-run served as the icing on the cake and essentially put the game out of reach for the Panthers, giving Atlanta a 41-26 lead with 3:45 remaining.
Some concerns about Jones arose when the star wideout hauled in just one pass on seven targets in Week 3 against a Saints defense regarded as one of the worst in the league. …
