Sean Weatherspoon Injury: Updates on Falcons LB’s Achilles and Recovery

The Atlanta Falcons have placed linebacker Sean Weatherspoon on the injured reserve, the team announced Tuesday.
According to Vaughn McClure of ESPN.com, the 28-year-old veteran ruptured his right Achilles in Week 4 against the Carolina Panthers.
Weatherspoon had 27 tackles on the season, including four on Sunday before going down with an injury.
