St Mirren appoint Jack Ross

St Mirren have confirmed Jack Ross has left Alloa to become the club’s new manager, despite talks with Billy Davies.
Ross has been in charge of Alloa since December 2015, and was awarded a new contract in April this year despite overseeing the club’s relegation to Scottish League One.
