Imrul lays down marker for opening ODI

Imrul Kayes said that the 121 against England in the Fatullah practice match will strengthen his case for a place in Bangladesh’s playing XI for the first ODI on Friday.
He was dropped after making 37 in the first game against Afghanistan last week which, he said, made him understood what he has to do to keep his place.
Imrul, a regular opener, was made to bat at No 3 against Afghanistan and though he was hitting the ball nicely, he did not last too long and subsequently lost his place.
