O’s unveil roster for AL Wild Card Game
- Updated: October 4, 2016
TORONTO — The Orioles have set their roster for Tuesday night’s American League Wild Card game against the Toronto Blue Jays in Toronto (8 ET, TBS/Sportsnet in English or RDS in French), going with 10 pitchers and 15 position players.
Most notable of the decisions is that the team’s pair of late-August acquisitions, outfielders Michael Bourn and Drew Stubbs, are both on the roster. Rookie sensation Trey Mancini, who has given the Orioles a boost against left-handed pitching, is also included. Toronto will start righty Marcus Stroman, but left-hander Francisco Liriano is expected to pitch at some point if he is needed.
