Goran Huskic 24-year old center Goran Huskic (210-C-92) had an amazing evening in the last round for Burgos and receives a Eurobasket.com LEB Gold Player of the Week award for round 1.He had the game-high 25 points adding eight rebounds and five assists for Burgos as his team lost the game against the league’s best team Forca Lleida (#4, 1-0) 81-88. Burgos moved-up to the 10th position in Spanish LEB Gold. In the team’s last game Huskic had a remarkable 81.8% from 2-point range. He turned to be Burgos’ top player in his first season with the team. Howard College, TX graduate has very impressive stats this year.Second best performed player last round was Urko Otegui (203-F/C-81) of Palencia. He is a forward in his 3rd season at Palencia. In the last game Otegui recorded impressive 23 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Of course he led Palencia to another comfortable win 94-77 over Caceres (0-1) being unquestionably team leader. His team has extremely good start of the season. They won their first game. …
