A team of horses sent to Australia by Charlie Appleby are settling in nicely with running plans firming up.
Appleby’s assistant trainer James Ferguson has travelled with the squad and has been pleased with the way they all handled what can be an arduous journey.
The star of the team is undoubtedly Scottish, winner of the Strensall Stakes at York last time out, who is heading for the Caulfield Cup.
