Blue Jays name roster for WC game vs. O’s

TORONTO — The Blue Jays have settled on their 25-man roster for Tuesday’s American League Wild Card game against the Orioles, and Toronto will carry an abundance of pitching.
The Blue Jays named 10 pitchers, seven infielders, six outfielders and two catchers to their final roster.
Toronto will carry seven right-handed pitchers and three southpaws.
“Really, [the Orioles] have a power-packed offensive line,” Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said. “You know, there may come a time when we need a big key out for somebody, and send a right-hander, left-hander. So it gives us some more options down there, no doubt.”
In addition to Tuesday’s starter Marcus Stroman, Toronto will also carry righty relievers Roberto Osuna, Jason Grilli, Joe Biagini, Ryan Tepera, Scott Feldman and starter Marco Estrada, who last saw action against the Red Sox on Friday.
