Horner ‘felt comfortable’ letting drivers race

Christian Horner says he had no concerns letting Daniel Ricciardo and Max Verstappen race to the line at Sepang as there is “real respect” between the two drivers.
The Red Bull pairing secured the team’s first 1-2 result since 2013 as Ricciardo claimed the Malaysian GP win ahead of Verstappen.
It was a thrilling end to the race for the team-mates as Verstappen hunted down the Aussie, closing the gap to 1.4s.
Ricciardo, though, was able to hold on to claim his first victory of this season.
