IvanMarinkovic Serbian-Slovenia Power forward Ivan Marinkovic (209-F/C-93) had an amazing evening in the last round for Zadar, receiving a Eurobasket.com Player of the Week award for round 1.The 23-year old player was the main contributor (32 points, eight rebounds) to his team’s victory, helping them to edge out FMP (#9, 0-1) 78-76. Zadar need more victories to improve their 1-1 record. It’s Marinkovic’s second year at Zadar and it’s hard to imagine this team without him. Ivan Marinkovic has solid league stats. He is in league’s top in points (2nd best: 25.0ppg) and averages impressive 76.9% FGP.The second best player in last round’s games was young Ante Zizic (210-F/C-97, agency: BeoBasket) of Cibona.
