James Milner rates Jurgen Klopp among the best managers he has worked with in a 14-year professional career.
The Liverpool boss is approaching his one-year anniversary at Anfield with his team in good shape – two points off the top of the Premier League leaders after just one defeat in their first seven games.
Milner’s match-winning penalty at Swansea on Saturday made it five straight victories in league and cup, and the veteran of six clubs says Klopp’s training sessions are “different to anything” he experienced under the likes of Terry Venables, Martin O’Neill and Roberto Mancini.
