Sow returns to Senegal squad for Cape Verde clash

Veteran forward, Moussa Sow, has been included in Senegal’s 24-man squad ahead of their FIFA World Cup Russia 2018 World Cup qualifier at home to Cape Verde on 8 October 2016.
Sow, 30, last played for his country in a friendly against Ghana in March 2015, and has impressed Teranga Lions coach Aliou Cisse upon his return to Turkish side Fenerbahce last August.
“Moussa Sow has earned a recall because he made a big decision to return to elite football from the United Arab Emirates,” remarked Cisse, referring to the France-born striker who re-joined Fenerbahce on loan after a season with UAE outfit, Al Ahli.
Ismaïla Sarr, 18, has been rewarded for his impressive form with French side Metz and given a chance to establish himself in the squad.
