Manchester City Transfer News: Latest Rumours on Samir Nasri and Ilkay Gundogan

Samir Nasri is reportedly hoping for a move to Major League Soccer or China unless he’s handed a more important role at Manchester City. Elsewhere, Ilkay Gundogan has lifted the lid on why he turned down Manchester United in favour of the Citizens.
Nasri has begun a season-long loan at Spanish outfit Sevilla in promising fashion, but the Daily Star’s Paul Hetherington reported the French playmaker fancies a move to New York City F.C. in the United States.
The MLS side is a sister club to Manchester City and is also owned by City Football Group, meaning a transfer could be eased by the connections between each outfit.
Sky Sports’ Spanish expert Guillem Balague provided further insight into the matter and added that Nasri, who has been impressive early on in his stay at Sevilla, values his place at the Etihad Stadium:
