La Liga: Sevilla see off Alaves

Wissam Ben Yedder scored a stoppage-time winner to give Sevilla at 2-1 victory over Alaves at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium and move them second in La Liga.

The 26-year-old French-born Tunisian striker, signed from Ligue 1 club Toulouse in the summer, put the home side ahead on 74 minutes, only for Victor Laguardia to equalise from a corner, which had looked enough to earn a share of the points.

However, Ben Yedder struck again in the closing seconds when he flicked the ball home at the near post, which put Sevila above Barcelona and level on points with Real Mardid, with both their rivals set to play on Sunday.
