Liverpool left it late during their Premier League visit to Swansea City, as a penalty in the closing minutes completed the Reds’ 2-1 comeback after trailing on Saturday.

Leroy Fer had given the Swans the lead in the opening minutes of the match, but goals from Roberto Firmino and James Milner gave Jurgen Klopp the glory.

Second-half efforts from Willian and Diego Costa earned Chelsea a 2-0 win at Hull City, as the Blues looked composed against the resilient hosts.

A dramatic game at Vicarage Road saw Watford and Bournemouth draw 2-2, with Sunderland and West Bromwich Albion sharing the points in a 1-1 encounter.

West Ham United and Middlesbrough drew 1-1 at the Olympic Stadium, with the Hammers coming from behind to snatch a point.

Fer converted after just eight minutes for the Swans, with the Reds struggling to find their flow and consistency.

Liverpool battled back into the match after the half-time break as their midfield took control of proceedings, exerting extreme pressure on their opponents’ goal.

The breakthrough came from Firmino after 55 minutes, as the Brazil international headed home from close range.
