The Daily Telegraph have published their latest allegations into corruption in football after former Premier League manager Harry Redknapp was filmed by undercover reporters.
Redknapp is alleged to have said that some of his players placed bets on their own matches, which is against FA rules – with managers expected to report any misconduct.
The former boss also talks about buying a stake in players – known as third party ownership – which is also banned by the FA.
The article made it clear that there is no suggestion Redknapp is involved in any illegality and, after discussing third party ownership, he suggested the undercover reporters should avoid that and invest in a lower league club instead.
