Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola labelled Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino as one of the best managers in the world ahead of the Sky Blues’ visit to White Hart Lane in the Premier League on Sunday.
The Spaniard also confirmed that he has yet to receive a requested apology from Yaya Toure and insisted his side must improve following their 3-3 midweek draw with Celtic in the UEFA Champions League.
City have a perfect record in the Premier League under Guardiola having won six from six in 2016-17, but the former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss was quick to praise Spurs and their manager ahead of their meeting, per the Manchester club’s Twitter feed:
