Truex Focused On Winning

Martin Truex Jr. has nothing to concentrate on this weekend at Dover International Speedway but winning the Citizen Soldier 400.
The Furniture Row Racing driver moved on to the second round of the Chase by winning the opening race two weeks ago at Chicagoland Speedway. He nearly made it two straight last Sunday at New Hampshire when he led 141 laps, only to finish seventh after a flurry of late restarts.
“Cautions late in the race didn’t play in our favor,” said Truex. “We also had a shot at winning at Dover in the spring race but during a late restart, we were in the wrong place at the wrong time. We were right behind the ’48’ car (Jimmie Johnson) when its transmission broke and we plowed right into it.”
