Kovalev is backing Cleverly

Sergey Kovalev has sent a message of support to Nathan Cleverly and is backing his former opponent to rip away Juergen Braehmer’s world title.
The Welshman will challenge Braehmer for the WBA light-heavyweight belt on Saturday night, live on Sky Sports, in Neubrandenburg, Germany
Cleverly’s reign as the WBO champion came to a dramatic end when he was stopped by Kovalev in 2013, but the Russian believes the Cefn Forest man can regain one of the division’s titles with an upset win this weekend.
