Lithuania – Silute lands Samuel Deguara

SamuelDeguara Silute (NKL) tabbed 25-year old Maltese center Samuel Deguara (223-131kg-91). He played most recently at Niagara River Lions in Canadian LBQ league. But in three games he averaged just 0.7ppg and 2.7rpg last season.Last year Deguara was drafted by Erie Bay Hawks (D-League) in sixth round (98th overall).He was also a member of Maltese international program for some years. Deguara played for Maltese Senior National Team between 2008 and 2014 and previously for U18 National Team back in 2009.He represented Malta at the European Championship for Small Countries in Gibraltar two years ago. Deguara’s team won Silver and his stats at that event were 4 games: Score-2 (18.8ppg), Reb-1 (15.0rpg), Blocks-1 (2.8bpg), FGP: 65.1%, FT: 64.0%.Deguara is a very experienced player.
