Kevin Durant Comments on Role in Warriors Offense

Kevin Durant joined a loaded roster with the Golden State Warriors, but he doesn’t expect to play a small role within the offense.
With training camp underway for the 2016-17 NBA season, his teammates want to make sure he is as aggressive as possible.
“That’s why they wanted me here!” Durant said Thursday, per Ethan Sherwood Strauss of ESPN.com. “They want me to come out here and be myself. I’m not going to play timid or not step on anyone’s toes, but I’m still going to be myself. Nobody’s telling me I’m shooting too much. They want me to be myself out there.”
