Cubs-Pirates game suspended, ends in tie

PITTSBURGH — The Pirates’ game against the Cubs on Thursday night at PNC Park was suspended and declared a 1-1 tie after being delayed by rain with one out in the top of the sixth inning.
It is the first tie in the regular season since the Astros and Reds played to a 2-2 tie on June 30, 2005, at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati.
