Rooney remains England captain

Wayne Rooney is set to remain as England captain under caretaker manager Gareth Southgate.
Southgate, who has taken charge of the national side following the departure of Sam Allardyce, has confirmed that he intends to name Rooney as captain for the upcoming games against Malta and Slovenia.
