Klopp: Too early to be satisfied
- Updated: September 29, 2016
Jurgen Klopp has played down Liverpool’s strong start to the season – claiming it is too early in the campaign to be “satisfied with anything”.
Liverpool are currently fourth in the Premier League table having already recorded notable wins over Arsenal, Chelsea and defending champions Leicester.
The Reds have impressed in front of goal, scoring 16 goal in their opening six league games, but Klopp insists there is still room for improvement.
“It’s obvious we have to improve,” said Klopp, at a press conference ahead of Saturday’s trip to Swansea, live on Sky Sports 2.
“We can analyse a lot of things we can do better. We have got results but we cannot stop thinking, and there is a lot of things to do for us.
“That’s the attitude we have created together. It’s much too early in the season to be satisfied with anything. We have to be ready for the next opponents.”
Liverpool head to Wales this weekend full of confidence after thrashing newly-promoted Hull City 5-1 last Saturday.
