The New York Jets played an awful game in Week 3, as they went to Kansas City and played giveaway with the Chiefs in a 24-3 loss.

Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick, who had been brilliant the week before against the Buffalo Bills, threw six interceptions against the Chiefs. As a result, the Jets lost any chance at picking up their second win of the season.

In Week 4, the Jets return to MetLife Stadium to face a strong defensive team in the Seattle Seahawks, and if Fitzpatrick and the rest of the offense couldn’t find the end zone against the Chiefs, it could be even more difficult against Michael Bennett, Bobby Wagner and Richard Sherman.

However, the Jets have a talented team despite their showing in Kansas City, and that includes Fitzpatrick, who has thrown for 751 yards and three touchdowns. He has a versatile running back in Matt Forte, who has rushed for 261 yards and three touchdowns, and a pair of wideouts in Brandon Marshall and Eric Decker, who are both capable of getting into the end zone.

The Seahawks are coming off a one-sided victory over the San Francisco 49ers at home, but their only road game this season was a loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Additionally, quarterback Russell Wilson has an MCL sprain that could limit his mobility throughout the game.

Since the Jets have a potentially devastating pass rush that includes Muhammad Wilkerson, Sheldon Richardson and Leonard Williams, this will be a key issue throughout the game.

The Jets appear to have one of their better teams in recent years, but they’re going to have to prove it this week by bouncing back against the Seahawks after their disappointment in Kansas City. The Seahawks are 2.5-point road favorites, according to Odds Shark, but we like the home underdog to get the win and the cover.
