Visitors were defeated by BK Lions Hradec (1-1) 77-69. The hosts trailed by 1 point after three quarters before their 27-18 charge, which allowed them to win the game. BK Lions Hradec made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. BK Lions Hradec outrebounded USK Praha 33-17 including 23 on the defensive glass. The best player for the winners was power forward Stanislav Zuzak (204-80, college: Cal-Irvine) who scored 23 points and 5 rebounds. American center Ryan Canty (206, college: Fordham) chipped in 7 points and 11 rebounds. Finnish power forward Alexander Madsen (207-95) produced 13 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. USK Praha’s coach Mirsad Alilovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn’t help. BK Lions Hradec is looking forward to face BK Decin on the road in the next round and it may be the game of the week.
