Edge On WWE Using Lita Affair As Storyline With Matt Hardy, Most Stressful Point Of His Career

Recently on Sam Roberts’ Wrestling Podcast, the interview segment of the show featured a conversation with WWE Hall Of Famer, Edge. Among other things, Edge talked about the point when he felt he truly became a main eventer in WWE and the infamous Matt Hardy feud involving WWE Hall Of Famer Lita.
In Edge’s view, his feud with John Cena is what established him as a main event star.
“Yeah, I think that’s when it’s like, ‘let’s test the waters here and see what he [has] got’ and then, I felt like I hit it out of the park. So it was like, ‘okay, we can depend on him now and we can depend on him to lead SmackDown while John leads RAW’. And that’s truly what that felt like.”
