Tiemogo: Niger aspire to qualify for Madagascar

Last year, Niger hosted the U-17 Africa Cup of Nations but the Junior Menas fell like a pack of cards starting with a 2-0 loss to Nigeria in the tournament’s opening match and eventually failed to qualify for FIFA U-17 World Cup Chile 2015. This term, the Junior Menas under the guidance of Soumaila Tiemogo have been in excellent form and sensationally edged out defending world champions, the Golden Eaglets of Nigeria in their previous second round qualifier towards the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations slated for Madagascar.
