Brook undergoes eye surgery

Trainer Dominic Ingle has provided details of Kell Brook’s operation to repair the broken eye socket he suffered against Gennady Golovkin.
‘The Special One’ was halted in the fifth round of an explosive clash with WBA Super, WBC and IBF world middleweight king Golovkin (36-0-KO33) at London’s O2 and subsequent scans confirmed a break to the area around his right eye.
In the wake of grisly surgery, Ingle says Brook is already talking about taking on other elite-level fighters.
