Week 3 of the NFL season was another confusing outing for fantasy owners, and things don’t get any easier heading into Week 4.
With players like Jamaal Charles and Le’Veon Bell reportedly ready to make their season debuts next weekend, you might find yourself between a rock and a hard place if your matchup has either of these players ready to go.
It’s that time of week again to scan the waiver wire and find the best value out there in free agency. Below, you’ll find the best targets to go after for Week 4 and which players you should drop and forget that you even drafted.
Note: For those of you wondering why Carson Wentz is on the “long-term option” list and not the “Week 4 waiver-wire target” list, the Eagles have a bye week next weekend and therefore don’t count toward this week.
Top Waiver-Wire Targets
Terrelle Pryor, WR, Cleveland Browns
There was some preseason hype surrounding Terrelle Pryor in August, but then again, it was just preseason action. We refused to take notice of Pryor’s ability to stretch the field and maneuver around in an offensive system.
Oh, how wrong we all were.
Pryor had a great Week 3 against the Miami Dolphins, recording 144 receiving yards and a rushing touchdown. He also lined up as a quarterback, running back and even at safety. He had 14 targets on Sunday, even with rookie quarterback Cody Kessler throwing him the ball.
