Benoit injures calf, Travis hurts shoulder

TORONTO — Toronto reliever Joaquin Benoit injured his calf and had to be helped off the field after the second benches-clearing incident in the Blue Jays’ 7-5 loss to the Yankees on Monday night at Rogers Centre.
Blue Jays second baseman Devon Travis also left the game with a shoulder injury, although it was not immediately clear how it happened. He winced and reached for his left shoulder after the final swing of a strikeout in the fourth inning.
