After starting the 2015-16 season 24-0, the Golden State Warriors made it their mission to eclipse the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls’ NBA-record mark of 72 wins.
It may have taken the Dubs all 82 games to get to 73 wins, but they did ultimately set the record. Unfortunately for them, they were unable to match the Bulls in capping off the historic season with a championship, even after jumping out to a 3-1 lead in the 2016 NBA Finals.
