Stephen Curry Confirms He Will Stand for National Anthem

Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry reiterated he would stand during the national anthem at Monday’s media day session with reporters.
“I plan on standing,” Curry said, per Sam Amick of USA Today.
During an interview at TechCrunch in San Francisco this month, Curry previously said he would “most likely” stand. The two-time reigning MVP was clear he supports the message of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick but was choosing not to express his message in the same way, per Anthony Slater of the Mercury News:
I’ll most likely stand. Colin, if you follow the way he talks, the message he’s trying to send with his act, he’s not, from his mouth, disrespecting the veterans or the military.
