Shane Vereen Injury: Updates on Giants Star’s Recovery from Triceps Injury

New York Giants running back Shane Vereen suffered a triceps injury in Week 3 against the Washington Redskins and will need to undergo season-ending surgery.

Vereen Ruled Out for Season Monday, Sept. 26
The Giants announced the injury and the need for surgery Monday but did not give a timeline for when Vereen will go under the knife. Jordan Raanan of ESPN added Vereen is believed to have played a significant amount of the game with the injury.
