West Ham Accused of Playing Crowd Noise Through London Stadium PA by Rival Fans
- Updated: September 26, 2016
West Ham United’s move to the London Stadium has not gone as smoothly as they would have liked, but the Hammers’ transition into their new ground seemingly hit a new low on Sunday as they were accused of playing recorded crowd noises through the public-address system to generate a better atmosphere.
The Irons slumped to a 3-0 defeat at home to Southampton, during which a number of fans took to social media claiming the club were attempting to make the crowd sound louder than they were, per Dream Team FC.
