Hamilton gets go-ahead
- Updated: September 26, 2016
Monday’s meeting at Hamilton has survived an early-morning precautionary inspection and goes ahead as planned.
Course officials had to assess conditions at 7am due to the threat of heavy overnight rain.
But Hamilton racing manager Sulekha Varma tweeted: “Racing goes ahead @HamiltonParkRC. A largely dry day ahead with just the chance of a passing shower or two.”
The going is heavy, with racing due to begin at 1.50pm.
