San Francisco 49ers tight end Vance McDonald suffered a hip injury against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday and will not return to the game.

This is a difficult setback for McDonald because he was looking to continue building on a career year in 2015 this season as San Francisco’s primary tight end.
