Man City win first WSL title

Manchester City won the FA Women’s Super League for the first time in their history with a 2-0 win over last season’s champions Chelsea on Sunday.
Goals from Jill Scott and Toni Duggan either side of half-time secured the victory in what was a dominant display for Nick Cushing’s side at the Academy Stadium.
City, who have won 13 and drawn two of their last 15 games, needed just one point to dethrone the Blues in front of a record crowd of 4,096 at the Academy Stadium as they went into the game seven points clear of their rivals.
