Holland – Prom.Divisie Round 2: CobraNova loses to Groningen

There were only 2 rounds played so far and it’s still very beginning of the Regular Season in Prom.Divisie. There was no lack of excitement in the last round games. The round ended with change at the leadership position and favorites losing the games.Round 2 most important game was a defeat of CobraNova (1-1). They were defeated by Groningen (1-1) 74-64 on Saturday night. CobraNova will play next round against New Stars trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Groningen will try to continue on its current victory against Leiden 2 on the road. De Groene defeated Red Giants in Groningen 67-62. Red Giants will play next round against Lokomotief trying to get back on the winning streak. De Groene will try to continue on its current victory against De Hoppers at Hoom. Lokomotief (1-1) recorded a loss in Rijswijk on Saturday night. Hosts were edged by Black Eagles (1-1) 70-67. Black Eagles will meet at home Lions (#8) in the next round where they are favorite. Lokomotief will play against Red Giants (#3) in Meppel and it may be a tough game between close rivals. And what about another game where Grasshoppers (#3) beat New Stars by 24 points 79-55 on the road. Grasshoppers’ next round opponent will be Punch (#10) in Delft and are hoping to win another game. …
