Sundowns through to final

A goal in each half by Anthony Laffor and Percy Tau saw Mamelodi Sundowns reverse a 2-1 away defeat to Zesco to 3-2 aggregate to set up a possible CAF Champions League final with either Wydad Athletic Club of Morocco or Zamalek of Egypt.
It took just five minutes for the home side to open the scoring after a neat interchange of passes saw Keagan Dolly finding unmarked Laffor in the box who made no mistake in firing home from close range to give the home side the precious goal.
Zesco were unlucky to find a quick equalizer when danger man, Jackson Were’s long-range effort found Dennis Onyango fully alert and equal to the task to parry the strike away from goal.
Knowing what a single goal would mean, Zesco were not afraid of sending numbers forward and were back in the Sundowns half again, this time through a long ball that found Jackson Mwanza who wasted no time in sending a one-time shot after seeing Onyango off his line but his effort …
